Weitere Informationen

Sacred wood is said to have the ability to transform intense energies, dissolve destructive structures and return space to its natural purity.

Palo Santo grows in the barren desert of Peru. Sometimes it does not rain in the region for several years. Mature trees are around 15 meters high and have almost no leaves. This makes the high resin content of naturally growing Palo Santo all the more astonishing.

Compared to other products such as incense sticks, Palo Santo has the great advantage that you can completely fumigate a room with it, open the windows for a moment and the scent will not linger in the room afterwards. After the incense ritual, rooms feel free of old energies and refreshingly neutral.

Resinous desert wood has become increasingly popular in recent years. This makes it all the more important to ensure good quality and a certified product.

SONQO does not source Palo Santo from the now numerous middlemen, but directly from strictly controlled communities that still collect the wood in the original wild way. This means that after approx. 6-8 years, the trees shed branches all by themselves, which then lie on the ground and are collected. Cutting down trees or sawing off branches is strictly forbidden.

Application: To incense with Palo Santo, light a stick with a lighter, let it burn for a moment and then extinguish the flame with gentle movements. This causes the Palo Santo wood to begin to smoke and the smoke spreads the essential oils around the room. Clay bowls, decorative shells or even large stones are suitable as incense burners.
