Many people dream of cracking the “code” on social media and going VIRAL. What is behind this widespread desire? Is it really just about being seen and making money automatically?

In the digital era, “going viral” means that information spreads globally at lightning speed and reaches millions of people. But the concept of going viral has its original roots in nature, in our biology and in the human body.

Last month, Ángel had a virus that was a bit frightening at first, paralyzing parts of his face. At the hospital, we heard that this phenomenon was occurring more frequently than usual. The virus disrupted our daily lives for a moment. But because it was not contagious, we were still able to hold three major events (RUNA and the 3rd module of the SONQO CACAO COURSE) as planned – same same but different – not quite as planned or not quite as usual: these SONQO events were indeed somewhat different and brought new and very welcome structures to light. Today, we are even grateful to the virus. However, our gratitude does not mean that we would wish the same for others in the future. Certainly not! But if we start to read and describe our situation neutrally like a scanner (or observing like in meditation), then interesting, highly topical, COLLECTIVE transformation themes suddenly emerge.

From a biological point of view, viruses are an ancient phenomenon. Regardless of whether certain subgroups believe in the existence of a certain virus while others do not: the decisive factor for the actual effectiveness of a virus is that it can at least spread as a topic of conversation, because even as a topic of conversation it has a transformative effect on our mindset and our habitual structures.

Going viral in the digital world and the outbreak of a virus in the physical body have one thing in common: they are catalysts for imminent changes that affect not just ONE HUMAN BEING, but the entire HUMANITY, or at least larger subgroups of humanity.

Instead of seeing a virus as a mere threat, we could see it as an announcement or an opportunity to renew humanity and the world. This collective change happens in the field of community, togetherness and heart power in a compassionate WE. Seen in this way, the body of a single individual can serve as a medium for the collective to make visible through a virus a deep-seated issue (a disused and at the same time highly normalized structure) that affects us collectively. It is as if the body enters the stage of the world to embody and explicitly display the phenomenon of collective transformation and communal awareness.

For all the suffering a virus can cause, once its collectively transformative information is revealed in clarity, the PRESENCE of a virus is also a GIFT.

IMPORTANT: Whenever something in everyday life no longer works as usual or as planned, the mind immediately switches on. It SEARCHES one thing, namely SAFETY and stability on the outside. The heart, however, loves the variety of all possibilities in order to be able to serve exactly that possibility from within, which is supposed to be right now.

When nothing or many things no longer work in everyday life, then it is time to turn back or return home to receive guidance and direction from the heart. One possible way inwards is the simple

“THE USUAL IS NOT WORKING AT THE MOMENT – AND WHAT IS WORKING RIGHT NOW?”

This question leads to resource-oriented acceptance of the current context. This often opens up completely new possibilities in a completely natural way.
