The year is picking up speed and some people are beginning to realize that the things they had planned for this year have already lost their focus.
In the Cacao Ceremony, we always remember our birthplace first. Why? Because this place was full of possibilities and still free of worldly conditioned expectations. That moment when the red carpet of our own life began to roll out with the YES TO LIFE. And this YES at the beginning of our lives is holistic. It affirms our entire existence with physical consciousness, with all the unconscious and also the great subconscious.
If spiritual practices are tied to the expectation of generating a better world, again with the expectation of being a better person afterwards, then we are also creating a bad world or a bad person at the same time. However, if we let go of all forms of enhancement, comparison and duality, then we actively decide to focus on holistic existence in the here and now.
Why can’t we simply practise in order to experience ourselves holistically again, just like in the original moment of our birth?
Even a New Year’s resolution or a decision for a new professional activity or for a new relationship – how can this step succeed without expectations, in pure existence with the holistic experience?
